Sunday Worship – at 10:45 AM
Our Sunday morning worship services lean toward a traditional style, with some contemporary elements.
The Chancel Choir provides anthems and special music.
Guest musicians are featured on special occasions and in the summer months.
Our interim pastor, Ken Hockenberry, leads our worship services in an welcoming, enthusiastic style, seeking to connect our congregation with a word from the Lord, as we all seek to follow the way of Jesus Christ in the world today
We have a special “Time with Young Disciples” each week for your young children; and child care is provided.
“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let is make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” (Psalm 95:1)
Nursery care for infants and toddlers is available during the worship service. Our Nursery is located on the lower level and is equipped with cribs, changing tables, books, and toys. The same attendant is on duty every Sunday, and the children are welcome to join the congregation for worship, especially during our Time with Young Disciples.
“Let the little children come unto me, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14)
Sunday School – at 9:30 AM (during the school year)
We have Sunday School classes for children and for adults – at 9:30 AM. You and your children are most welcome. For our children we use the “Growing in Grace and Gratitude” curriculum published by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) which concentrates on teaching children the great stories of the Bible.
Following the 10:45 AM service, the congregation is invited to Coffee Hour in Sawyer Hall. Lead by our Deacons, this is a weekly festive gathering and a looked-forward-to time of fellowship for everyone. You are most welcome. Special Coffee Hours, in honor or in memory of a loved one, or for a special occasion, can be provided.
“And we declare to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (I John 1:3)
